About the role
We are looking for a driven and experienced person for the key role of leading the operational and strategic purchasing work within BU Lifttrucks Parts. The role includes actively seeking quality and cost improvements and continuing to develop our purchasing work at various levels. In addition to this, you will also implement policies and work for effective coordination between different Konecranes units and support other departments in purchasing and negotiation processes. We also want you to be passionate about developing your team so that they continuously grow in their roles. 
The above tasks include, for example:
Responsible for developing our supplier base in Cost, Quality, Environment & Delivery performance. 
Responsible for developing our operative & tactical/strategic procurement including purchasing strategies, planning, execution & continuous improvements.
Supplier agreement responsible, supply agreements, pricing, delivery & SLA´s
Participation member in Parts & Service Product management team, initiate & lead new service project streams.
Lead or initiate projects within inventory planning optimisation. 
Globally responsible of Inventory optimisation in relation to customer service level & cost of capital. 
Together with stakeholders develop best practise and processes, make utilisation of system tools & intelligence. 
LEAN implementation act as driver for implementation of efficiency within procurement and across the supply chain. Includes driver of strategy, masterplan deployment and further drilled to functional targets & target settings. 
Ensure certifications such as ISO is maintained & developed from quality, environmental & governance needs. 
Competence development of personnel in solid & dotted lines as well overall organisation.

For the right person, there are great opportunities to develop both the role and yourself. The location for the role is on-site in Markaryd but there is also the possibility to work remotely part of the time and travelling is part of the job.

What should you bring?
We are looking for a person with at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience and a higher education in a technical or business field. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and coaching abilities, a collaborative mindset, and excellent networking capabilities. Effective communication skills, planning and organizing proficiency, and expertise in change management are essential. 
You are fluent in written and spoken English, have a very good knowledge of MS Office and have a B driving licence. 
Additionally, an open and positive attitude is highly valued
