Permobil, a leading assistive technology manufacturing company, isseeking an Embedded Software engineer to join the Embedded Software Developmentteam. This role is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of mobility andindependence for individuals who use our products and services. One of ourresponsibilities is to secure compliance with international standards formedical technology.

As an EmbeddedSoftware engineer , you’ll work within multi-processor solutions using real-time operating systems and embeddedLinux, developing software that implements various features inwheelchairs, using tools like Jira and Gitlab. The entire system design iscomplex, and you’ll start your career by focusing on specific functions,gradually gaining a broader understanding of the entire system design. With thewhole system architecture - including mechanics, electronics, and cloudservices – we offer you a creative and problem-solving everyday work life.

Keyresponsibilities
Work with a multiprocessor solution and refine and implement software features in C and C++.
Collaborate in agile project development teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Skills
You have a passion for software development and expertise in C and C++
Bachelor- or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or another related field.
Basic understanding and interest in hardware.
Proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English, as it is required for communication and documentation.

It ismeritorious if you have:
Previous experience in working in Jira and Gitlab
You have previous experience in software development for medical devices or other
safety critical products
