Your future team


You will be part of Advanced Steering System group, within Vehicle Dynamics sub stream. We develop steering actuators and steering control systems for all the truck brands within Volvo Group as well as Volvo Buses. 


We are now looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the steering control software verification area. Your future teams will consist of experienced and skilled embedded software engineers, function developers and mechatronic engineers.

Who are you?

As a person, we think of you as someone who can drive and lead changes to enable new WoW and culture. You have exceptional communication skills and you enjoy working with complex environment and solving technical challenges. You are also structure and have a good understanding on the importance of the process and documentation aspects of technical development. 

To be successful in this role, we believe that you have the below qualification and experience:-

You have a degree in Mechatronics, Control engineering, Electronics and similar Good understanding of System Development of embedded real-time systems Minimum 5 years of experience in SW development and verification & validation according to ISO26262Experience in developing SW requirements and test cases for function development and verification Fluent in written and spoken English

What’s in it for you?

We need to increase our capacity and strength with an experienced “Verification and Validation Engineer (V&V)” to meet the current and future demand for securing the quality of our product. 


As a Verification leader you will play important role of developing the long-term verification strategy of our control system. You will shape our developing process to ensure high quality products are being released to the market. 
You will work closely with the SW team to ensure correct SW requirements are being applied. You will be the key contact person to the HIL & SIL team, supporting them with test method creation and ensuring that HIL & SIL environment fits the need for our current and future need.


Test Automation is something that you are familiar with, and you see as important step to optimize our validation process, both in terms of quality and efficiency.
