At IKEA Älmhult AB, we serve our guests at many different locations, such as: The Köket at the IKEA Museum, the Lobby Restaurant at the IKEA Hotel, Grillen, MUMS, and the Aktivitetshuset.

Now, as we gear up for the fall, we are looking for someone who has a passion for food and creating an amazing dining experience for our guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a chef in our operations, you play a vital role in preparing, cooking, and serving dishes that give our guests a taste of Småland and IKEA. You will be part of a kitchen team where everyone strives to provide the best experience for the guest. With your commitment and culinary knowledge, you can make a difference in meeting the guest's expectations:

Your duties will include:

• Preparation and cooking of dishes during breakfast, lunch, evening, and weekend
• Supporting with menu design
• Organizing the kitchen prior to lunch and dinner service
• Ensuring that everything leaving the kitchen is of high quality and follows all safety regulations related to food

We are looking for you who want to be a part of creating an exciting food experiences with Småland in focus. You love service and that you together with your colleagues are being able to meet your guests and customers everyday

Your personality is of great importance to us. To succeed in this role we expect you to take initiative to get things done, and that you are curious to find new better ways of doing things. You have the ability to solve problems that arise on a daily basis. You like working together with your colleagues, you are a great team-member and have a passion for creating a food and guest experiences togehter with and through your colleagues, both in the kitchen and in the restaurant.

We expect you to speak both Swedish and English fluently, and it is a plus if you master some additional language. You are also comfortable working with computers. You must be over 18 years of age and hold a valid work permit, making you eligible for work in Sweden. And of course you share our passion for IKEA's history, culture and values

The positions are permanent position on full time (100%), where you will be scheduled to work morning, daytime, evening and weekend shifts following the needs of our operations. 

We expect you to start by the 1st of September.
