To thrive in this position, we see that you bring:
- Strategic Procurement Expertise: You should have a thorough understanding of strategic procurement, particularly in the sectors of Energy and Waste. This includes knowledge of cost drivers and the value chain with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainable waste management practices.
- Regulatory Insight: You are familiar in the standard conditions and regulations that govern the Energy and Waste markets across the Nordic countries. Competence in the regulatory conditions in European countries is an advantage.
- Multilingual Communication Proficiency: Fluency in both spoken and written English is required. Additional Nordic languages would be highly beneficial.
- Supplier Management Skills: You have a track record of effectively developing and managing supplier relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality materials and services while fostering strong connections with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced Negotiation Skills: Your strong negotiation capabilities enable you to secure advantageous terms and cultivate long-term, strategic partnerships.
- Global Perspective: Your experience in a global organization provides you with the insights necessary to operate across various international markets and cultural landscapes.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with SAP procurement tools, such as ARIBA or S4Hana, is preferred to enhance our procurement processes and operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities

We offer you an exciting position as purchaser within the Procurement organization of Ingka. With our sourcing and tendering process, you will be given the opportunity improve and develop Energy, Water, and Waste procurement areas to bring innovation through partnering with suppliers, to meet Ingka development needs in a cost-efficient way with sustainability built in from the start.

In a day with us you will do:

- Procurement management: Lead all procurement activities and projects within the Energy, Water, and Waste categories across the Nordic countries and potentially in other European countries. Focus on innovative energy and waste management solutions.
- Project Oversight: Manage the commercial aspects of project preparation, including supplier selection, pre-qualification, tendering, negotiation of services, materials, and equipment, as well as contracting and follow-up.
- Market Analysis: Actively monitor the market to make informed sourcing strategies, understand supplier markets, and identify relevant trends. Support strategic planning and goal achievement in the Energy, Water, and Waste categories, with an emphasis on sustainability and cost reduction in real estate development.
- Compliance and Partnership Building: Ensure strict adherence to procurement processes and build long-lasting partnerships with stakeholders and key suppliers based on a shared business model. Maintain trusted relationships aligned with the Ingka way of doing business, emphasizing compliance with IWAY and our Code of Conduct to ensure ethical and sustainable practices.
