About the position

We are seeking expression of interest from senior Creature/Character Artists to join our talented team and work on some exciting upcoming projects. The perfect match for this position has a strong grasp of organic and hard surface modeling and the ability to create detailed high resolution characters, as well as stylized creatures. And an understanding that character work does not end in ZBrush. We believe that you know lookdev and grooming just as well as you sculpt. For this position we are primarily considering artists based in Europe due to time zone differences.

What you will get to do

Work as character/model lead in projects and managing task allocation for the team together with Producer/Coordinator.
Create high-quality humanoid characters and animals, throughout modeling, lookdev and grooming.
Work with scan data to produce high detail results.
Bring game assets up to cinematic quality.
Retopology and efficient UV layout.
Support junior artists by sharing skills and knowledge.
Communicate with surrounding departments to find and solve potential issues at an early state in productions. Participate in bid meetings together with Producers and Supervisors in order to estimate cost for asset production.

What you bring

Minimum 5 years of work experience within Modeling.

Experienced in advanced modeling and sculpt workflows and you are also open to explore new and more effective workflows and applications.

Strong understanding of anatomy, form, silhouette and structure

Shading experience related to characters and creatures.

A positive attitude, reliable, with the ability to keep set deadlines.

Enjoys working autonomously as well as part of a team, sharing information and know-how, as well as being open to new ways of working

Nice to have

Have a genuine interest in designing and concepting creatures and characters.

Strong skills in Zbrush, Maya, Substance Painter and Marvelous designer.

Shading experience in Vray.

Experience in working with USD pipeline is a big plus.
