What you will do

At Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

As a Segment Leader within our purchasing team you will be responsible for:

Building and driving the development of the segment strategy and purchasing process to support Volvo’s strategic objectives Strengthen Volvo’s competitive advantage by understanding the business needs and the supplier market in this areaManage and develop the supplier base, using categorization, segmentation, evaluation, etc. developing resilient and sustainable partnershipsManage the segments in a QDCFTSR mindset Drive and coordinate the global activities in close collaboration with the regions. Negotiate upcoming requests, contract and frameworks with suppliers Actively contribute to the team development, by bringing improvement ideas, support your peers, coaching buyers when relevant, sharing good cases
