What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Software Engineer at Anyfin, you'll immerse yourself in a dynamic, fast-paced scale-up environment. Our team is diverse, motivated, and committed to creating amazing tech and products. You’ll work with the core backend services team, playing an important role in building something truly monumental. No two days will be the same as you tackle data pipelines, collaborate with the financial backend and credit teams, and ensure we offer the best solutions to our customers by enhancing our payment infrastructure, accounting, financial reporting, and third-party integrations.Your Responsibilities:

Take main ownership of our Python services, driving them to new heights and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Data Scientists, the Finance Team, Product Managers, and Business Analysts. Engage in discussions with external parties such as credit bureaus and partner banks. Contribute to both Python and JavaScript services, with a primary focus on Python. Actively drive our infrastructure and architecture forward. Mentor junior engineers and champion Python best practices internally.

Who You Are
You’re driven by a genuine passion for continuous learning and have an insatiable (fancy word but we felt it was nice to include) curiosity for exploring new opportunities. You’re not afraid to shake things up and involve people from various backgrounds to achieve the best outcomes. You are a master at prioritizing and delivering crucial projects within tight timelines, and the thrill of launching to production energizes you as you constantly think about how to elevate things to the next level.Additionally, you:

Have extensive experience in Python (at least 5+ years) and a love for working with it. Are proficient in server applications and relational databases (we use Postgres, but experience with any is valuable). Have substantial experience with cloud technologies, preferably GCP. Possess some experience with JavaScript as you’ll be working with it frequently. Hold a degree in Computer Science and have experience in the financial sector or accounting and financial data systems (though this isn’t mandatory). Bonus points if you have experience in GraphQL and Machine Learning/AI.
