Head of Tax Insurance Nordics (Stockholm)


What can you expect:

Marsh, a leading global insurance broker, is seeking an experienced M&A tax professional to join our Nordic Transactional Risk Insurance team as the Head of Tax Insurance Nordics. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and further developing our tax insurance practice in the Nordic region, working closely with tax advisors, M&A lawyers, private equity firms, real estate funds, institutional investors and corporate clients.

We will rely on you to:

- Structure, negotiate and place tax insurance solutions on behalf of Marsh's clients.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including tax advisors, M&A lawyers, private equity firms, real estate funds, institutional investors and corporate clients.

- Generate new business opportunities by actively networking, identifying leads, and pitching our services.

- Collaborate with the broader Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) team in the Nordics as well as Marsh’s European Tax Insurance team to share best practices and drive the overall growth of the business.

What you need to have:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within M&A tax advisory, specifically client facing experience practicing M&A tax law and proven ability to develop tax related business.

- Good network among the tax, legal and business community.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with senior-level professionals.

- Strong technical expertise in M&A tax, preferably including an understanding of tax liability insurance and other transactional risk products such as warranty & indemnity (W&I) insurance.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow and develop a practice.

- Fluency in English, with proficiency in one or more Nordic languages (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian) preferred
