Elsewhere Entertainment is looking for a Dev-Ops Engineerto join the development of a new IP.

You’ll help take the studio and our game from great to even better—with a focus on inclusivity, mutual respect (for ourselves and our players), thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration. 

You’ll help us by…

Define and support platform-level and resource management initiatives

Maintain and improve governance and security tooling and various internal systems.

Help build out internal best practices around public cloud usage and enablement.

Work with other engineering teams to help them build applications in the Cloud.

Work closely with other build, production and other infrastructure teams on ensuring smooth migration to platform.

You’re awesome because you have…

Solid SRE/DevOps/Platform engineering experience.

Experience with some of the following: public cloud governance, Cloud FinOps, distributed compute environments, serverless compute, application development, big data analytics, cloud computing including containerization, hosted services and multi-tenant cloud infrastructures.

Programming experience preferably with Python or Go.

Experience working with declarative tools for defining cloud resources, terraform and Helm.

Good knowledge of SQL, preferably BigQuery.

The ability to collaborate and thrive as part of a creative team

Creativity in problem solving and a positive, respectful team-first attitude

Organization methods and thecapabilitytomeet deadlines

Comfort with self-critique and accepting outside feedback

Bonus points for…

Excellent knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. Certified Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or similar.

Experience rolling out changes to public cloud governance - GCP org policies or, IAM controls

Familiarity with modern cloud-native architectures.

Knowledge of monitoring systems and frameworks, Google Cloud operations suite, Prometheus or Grafana.

Knowledge of BI/reporting tools

Experience dealing with hybrid environments with multiple dependencies.

Strong Linux and computer networking expertise is beneficial.

Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles
