As a Major Components Logistics Coordinator , you will be part of a permanently employed project-based Logistics team who are dedicated and responsible for the control of Wind Turbine Parts and Tools in line with safety guidelines, project requirements, corporate methods and industry legislative standards in the Nordics Area.

The role will provide you with lots of variety, learning and development opportunities along with an exceptional team culture. 

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

Order, receive, pick, pack, issue and dispatch inventory whilst maintaining fully auditable records on both system and paper accurately

Be the sole point of contact for the Major Component Project Manager and site teams to ensure all parts including consumables are ordered, received, and stored with subcontractors within the Nordics

Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity)

Return faulty major components to the repair shop systematically and physically including customs documentation

Liasing with subcontractors on receipt, storage, quality control and dispatch of heavy lift components

Captures relevant data in data processing systems

Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory counts across all Major component subcontractors across the Nordics

Behave with flexibility to support operational requirements whilst maintaining integrity of procedural requirements

Support other locations upon request with flexible working arrangements

Due to the dynamic of Major component exchanges other project work and supporting the remote storekeeper team will be a scope of the role

What you need to make a difference

A passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to leadthe change. We are also looking for..

Material Handling experience for heavy lift parts is preferred.

Customs documentation experience is essential.

Prior working experience in a Logistics environment is essential specially from the Wind industry. However, applicants from other industry are welcome.

Technical knowledge of lifting equipment and/or major components would be an advantage.

A self-motivated individual with ability to work under tight deadlines.

SAP experience would be preferred although full training would be provided.

The job role requires Nordic driving license.

The role will involve some travel within the Nordics.

English along with one of the Nordic languages is required, as the role has a Nordic Scope and will work with projects within all the Nordic countries.
