We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our chemical site in Helsingborg. This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional looking to take the next step in their career with structured training and development to transition into an Operations Manager role.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving continuous improvements, conducting risk assessments, and contributing to the site's compliance with environmental permits. Key Responsibilities:- Continuous Improvement: Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity across the site.
- Risk Assessments: Lead and participate in risk assessments, ensuring processes comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Environmental Permits: Work closely with the environmental team to ensure compliance with existing permits and contribute to updates or new applications as required.
- Operational Excellence: Support the day-to-day operations of the chemical site, troubleshooting and resolving process issues.
- Leadership Development: Collaborate with senior leadership and participate in structured training to develop the skills and expertise required for the Operations Manager role.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, production, and HSE teams to align on process optimization and compliance goals.
- Project Management: Take ownership of key projects, driving them from concept to implementation.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in a process engineering role, ideally within the chemical or manufacturing industry.
- Leadership Potential: Strong interest in operational leadership and demonstrated ability to lead or mentor teams.
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with risk assessment processes and environmental permitting.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (Swedish language skills are a plus but not essential).
