Weare currently looking for 3 Development Engineers of various seniority levelsto join our R&D department in Sundsvall / Timrå / Birsta.

As Mechanical Development Engineer at Permobil, you will collaborateclosely with Test Engineers, Project Managers, and fellow engineers incross-functional projects. Your primary responsibilities will includedesigning, developing, and documenting user-friendly products of the highestquality for production and assembly. You will contribute to the creation of newproducts, as well as the improvement and maintenance of existing ones, all witha user-centered mindset.

Inthis role, you will also be instrumental in ensuring that our products meettechnical requirements traceable to user needs and that they perform asintended, adhering to both internal and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop innovative technical solutions and conduct concept studies for existing and future products, Incorporate latent user needs into product solutions and prioritize user satisfaction, Document development work according to our rigorous quality processes, Depending on your seniority, lead and mentor other development engineers,

Skills and Qualifications

University degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in mechanical engineering. Preferably a few years of working experience or more, Proficiency in PDM, 3D CAD, and drawings (SolidWorks or similar), Experience of modular product design, requirements management and risk analysis, Knowledge of materials, surface treatments, and manufacturing methods, Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, Experience in the medical device industry or automotive industry is a plus.
