Description

Category

Software Testing, Data Analysis.

Scope

2 students completing a master's or bachelor's thesis.

Background

At New Business (NB) Audio, we conduct regular stability tests to ensure our products' reliability. Currently, we analyze these tests and extract meaningful statistics manually. This project aims to automate the analysis of stability tests and gather improved statistics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform product improvement decisions.

Goals

Automate the analysis of stability test results to extract KPIs. Collect statistics on issues/bugs rates, that generates software bug-tickets for each stability test. Develop a data-driven approach to identify areas in our testing processes that need improvement or replacement.

Objectives

Design and implement an automated data processing pipeline to analyze stability test results. Develop a dashboard or reporting system to visualize extracted KPIs and statistics. Analyze correlations between software bug-ticket rates and specific stability tests to identify trends and patterns.

Expected Outcomes

An automated system that analyzes stability test results and extracts meaningful statistics. A comprehensive set of KPIs and statistics to guide product improvement decisions. Identification of areas in our testing processes that require improvement or replacement.

Master's or bachelor's degree student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools and libraries such as Pandas or NumPy, with some knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java.
