Stockholm, Sweden Amazon Data Services Sweden AB Full time
Amazon Web Services is looking for a results-oriented individual to join the AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET). In this role, the candidate will own the end-to-end power scaling strategy for AWS's Data Centres across a number of countries within AWS’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) footprint. The candidate will engage with power utilities in prospecting for and securing the power needed for AWS's business growth. The candidate will develop and execute innovative energy projects, programmes and initiatives. The candidate will manage power utility interactions, and secure energy related incentives and funding. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and help evaluate potential technical, commercial and business opportunities in the energy space.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong energy and project management background that enables them to engage with both internal business partners and energy stakeholders across EMEA. They will have proven experience in energy policy at national or EU level. They will demonstrate an ability to think strategically about our business, our technical challenges and have a skill-set to drive tactical execution of contracts, energy initiatives and team goals. By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these partners, you will be responsible for meeting the energy team objectives to support AWS’s EMEA infrastructure expansion.
