We are looking for a dedicated and innovative Process Developer who thrives on driving business improvements and achieving results. This role is crucial in promoting process-oriented business development and ensuring our operations align with IKEA's vision and core values. If you are passionate about analyzing, developing, and enhancing business processes, this might be the perfect role for you

While Process Developer is your core competence, you will have the opportunity to contribute in different fields of development with different tasks based on business needs. This gives you the ability to grow and learn in different domains and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver as part of a digital product team with set priorities.
  • Improve, develop, and maintain process documentation according to defined framework (process maps, working methods, task descriptions, measurement specifications, learning material, etc.).
  • Develop, and maintain process/sub-process design and propose improvements.
  • Gather, understand, and analyze the business benefits of identified process improvement potentials.
  • Facilitate the way of working with process-oriented business development.
  • Lead, manage, and/or support process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with related functions for holistic business solutions.
  • Ensure consistency among interconnected processes
  • Participate in external networks for benchmarking and enhancing knowledge.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Curious and Analytical: Strong analytical skills and a curious mindset to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. Self-driven and motivated by challenges, with a focus on improving current ways of working in line with IKEA’s vision and values.
  • Agile Mindset: Experience in agile environments and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Problem Solver: Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for finding innovative process improvements. Capable of addressing both operational and tactical issues with a customer-focused approach.
  • Team Player: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the desire to be “better together” and to work effectively with diverse teams. Ability to listen to and understand the needs of the business, both in daily operations and in aligning future plans and strategies into development initiatives. Integrity and the ability to establish relationships at all levels of the organization, based on trust and a desire to learn from others as well as to share your knowledge.
  • Self-driven continuous Learner: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering results.
  • Connecting the dots: Strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling complexity and seeing both the big picture and the details. Experience in process development and improvement methods
  • Communicator and change enabler: Strong communication skills along with strong conflict management ability. You should be able to make your case, be to the point and explain complex topics in an understandable way. Ability to enable change, motivate, lead (in- and directly), and inspire. You can facilitate discussions to reach a common view and conclusions.

Knowledge of IKEA’s business model, value chain, and deeper knowledge in specific processes, especially in sales and supply planning is an advantage.
