Are you looking for an exciting job in the Wind Industry? Then Swire Renewable Energy is looking for High Voltage Technicians and Electricians like you

Ideally you will have previous experience working on wind projects but if you don’t, we are also open to educated electricians/ or technicians that have an electrical background, who want to join the industry and have some of the experience mentioned below. If you have worked on a power plant, we will definitely consider you.

We are looking for local technicians from Sweden preferably located in Stockholm or Östersund.


 Tasks: 

Installation and service of HV / MV equipment in offshore and onshore wind turbines.Installation and service on either kV or kV equipment

Qualifications and certificates: 

You are an educated electrician, or you have a relevant electrical technical backgroundIt will be advantageous if you have transformer and switchgear knowledgeYou are a team player, are quality conscious and can manage your tasks independently and carefully.You have a positive attitude towards your work in a challenging and sometimes busy everyday life with diverse tasks.It will also be advantageous if you have your GWOs- manual handling, first aid, fire awareness and manual handling

It will be an advantage, but not a requirement, if you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

HV / MV switchgear

Installation, service and maintenanceInspection and test (insulation resistance, voltage test)Test of protection relays

HV / MV transformer

Installation, service and maintenanceInspection and test (winding resistance test, Voltage test)

HV / MV cable

Termination of cables, installation and retrofitInspection and test (insulation resistance, VLF test)
