We’re in the midst of building a world-class data platform and analytics team, used to fuel our product development with reporting, insights and testing frameworks. What we look for
 We’re looking for someone who will help Tink reach the forefront of data-informed, and driven, decision making. We look for that “we’re in this together” attitude, and an ambition to get your hands dirty and do things right, to balance the short-term and setting us up for the future. You enjoy working with a wide range of tasks. Everything from deeper technical work, for example building data pipelines and setting up dashboards, to working with insight generation and collaborating with product managers on more high level objectives.

With that, we think you’ve already spent a couple of years learning the tools of analytics and have sharpened your soft skills working with, and influencing, stakeholders and business leaders. You’ve probably worked in a product-oriented company, ideally in the financial sector, but hey - if you haven't, you can learn.


Day-to-day:
 You’ll work with pretty much every function at Tink, to bring an understanding of how our products are performing, what we do well, and what we can do better. Our Data Foundations team will provide you with great help to build a modern platform for data collection, transformations and pipelines. The team’s responsibilities stretch wide and we’ll always be split between instrumenting data, automating reporting and driving analytics projects where we deep-dive in some aspect of our product.

In the short term, we collaborate with Product Managers and engineering squads to make sure we collect high-quality fundamental data. It also includes making basic metrics from that data accessible to those same stakeholders. Be it either through dashboards, or empowering people to query themselves. Empowering people is an important aspect of the role. You will be educating our stakeholders how to interpret and work with our data.

In the medium and longer-term, a significant share of reporting is automated and focus shifts more towards understanding what drives performance, deep-dive problems and opportunities, and develop our capabilities for advanced analytics, A/B-testing, and data-driven design.


Required qualifications

Minimum one year of experience in a similar role, perhaps you picked up the skills in a different area or over a different timeframe - let’s talk

Supporting analytics projects and initiatives from inception to delivery.

Good communication skills and collaborating efficiently with stakeholders.

Hands-on work with basic SQL, metrics reporting and building dashboards/business-intelligence.

An understanding of analytical & statistical methods, e.g. hypothesis testing, AB-tests, regression modeling and similar.

Scripting experience in R or Python’s data libraries (or Julia or Matlab or SPSS or something else).
