Lead Hardware Engineer Automotive Radar/Camera components

Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Perception Sensor Hardware Lead to join our team and oversee the sourcing and installation of hardware components globally. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a strong background in hardware ownership and development management, particularly in Radar and/or Camera perception components.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the functional development of perception sensor hardware, including requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification.
- Specialize in technical domains such as Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine Aftertreatment, Electro Mobility, Powertrain Control, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or Diagnostics.
- Guide system engineering efforts within a technical team and actively contribute to project delivery.
- Integrate contributions from various teams to ensure comprehensive development.
- Ensure quality and readiness of hardware before release, focusing on the early phases of the development cycle.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps and influence collaborative efforts across the organization.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Act as a subject matter expert within your field, providing insights and solutions for complex discipline-related challenges.
- Contribute to project roadmaps and strategies in alignment with industry trends and organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in hardware development management or related fields.
- Strong expertise in Radar and/or Camera perception components.
- Proven track record as a project lead with a demonstrated ability to mentor and educate others.
- T-shaped profile with deep knowledge in one area and a broad understanding of related disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate value creation and align work with strategic objectives.
