About the role:

Are you an experienced HR professional with a proven track record in driving HR on a global level and supporting diverse markets worldwide? We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to join our team in Amsterdam and support line managers across international markets as well as building HR on a global level.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support business objectives across various global markets.

  • Provide expertise in, as well as operationally managing, international HR operations, including but not limited to employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with others in the HR team to ensure consistent implementation of global HR policies and procedures.
  • Offer guidance and support to international offices on HR matters, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Dutch labor law to ensure compliance and provide guidance on HR policies and practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR management with a strong emphasis on international markets.
  • In-depth understanding of Dutch labor laws and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate diverse cultural practices and adapt HR strategies accordingly.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and collaborate with global teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluency in English is required, proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally to support international offices.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and irregular hours

Qualifications:

  • Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masterâs degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in an international HR role from a fast pace environment
  • Demonstrated success in providing HR support to diverse international markets
  • Experience of growing companies
  • Positive and solution oriented mindset and lots of energy
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills and ability to work in a self-directed, results-oriented at a fast pace, prioritize tasks, organize large volume of work, perform independently; and undertake multiple tasks under tight deadlines
