We are looking for a Software Engineer with background or interest in software test and particularly in test automation. Straight from school? No worries, we expect a learning curve and we have professional team mates here to help you.
As Software Engineer, you bec a part of a software team at the R&D Bioprocess organization. We develop and test software for control and monitoring of our chromatography products used by our customers for biomedical research and pharma production.
About the role:
As a Software Engineer, youâll work with your and other teams in an agile and dynamic environment. The goal is to ensure that the software delivered for system testing keeps a high quality. This is achieved by a combination of manual and automated tests.
Youâll contribute with skills and build your experience in close collaboration with colleges. Youâll participate and contribute to all parts of the software development life cycle. Eventually, youâll be able to contribute with customer case management.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Early stage quality assurance through software testing.
- Software test automation through design and implementation of automated test cases.
- Strategic decision about test cases suitable for manual and automated tests.
- Test case coverage and presentation of automated test result.
- Development of automated tests template and test support to the development teams.
- Some manual testing, both at instruments and through simulators.
- Test documentation.
You will contribute to both new product and features development as existing product maintenance.
About the candidate we're looking for:

The essential requirements of the job include:
- BSc / MSc in Software Engineering or similar experience
- Experience in software development and testing in C#/.NET
- Experience from automated tests development and maintenance, preferably from FlaUI
- Team collaboration as well as independent work
- Analysis and problem solving
- Written and spoken communication in both Swedish and English
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- UNICORN
- Software development life cycle
- FlaUI and UFT
- Open to develop within the C#/.NET field
- Version management
- Product development
- Agile way of working
- Quality systems
- Test management tools like Micro Focus ALM
- Azure DevOps and SW pipelines
