Master thesis scope

We are looking for a Master or PhD student with good knowledge in one or some areas of antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or microwave design for wireless communications.

Main Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our experienced team to design and optimize base station antennas.

Utilize simulation tools and software to model antenna performance and characteristics.

Work on the development of innovative solutions for enhanced antenna efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/related field.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on RF/microwave engineering or antenna design.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of RF principles, transmission lines, and antenna theory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

What we offer:

The internship will last for a minimum period of 6 months and possible to extend until 10 months. This is a full-time and paid internship. The intern will work in at Gothenburg Research Center, Huawei Technologies Sweden AB.
