You would support the Nordic market with a focus on Sweden and Swedish law. Our core business is to provide payment services, and we are supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Sw. Finansinspektionen). The position will be based in Stockholm, and you will report locally to Legal. The position is a temporary position until 2025-04-17, starting as soon as possible.

• Draft and negotiate various types of agreements with customers, partners and suppliers.
• Work closely with our compliance department in regulatory matters.
• Work closely with our finance department on corporate matters.
• Work closely with other departments (such as Credit, Risk and Fraud) in supporting them with legal matters.
• Work collaboratively with other lawyers in the organization.
• Administrative tasks related to the above.

You have:

• A Swedish LL.M. (Juristexamen).
• No less than three years of experience from a law firm, court, state authority or working as an in-house legal counsel.
• Superb written and verbal skills in Swedish and English.
• Excellent legal and analytical skills.
• Experience of financial services (and particularly the payments sector). This is desirable, but not essential.
• Experience of participating in procurement processes (private and public). This is desirable, but not essential.
