Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite experienced Safety Engineer to an Automotive project.

The project aim is to optimize, and extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.

Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Law, or a related field
• Experience working with Automotive area and car security
• Legal background or understanding of cybersecurity legislation and regulatory frameworks
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
• Experience in alert prioritization, escalation mechanisms, and incident response workflows.
• Understanding of theft prevention strategies and technologies.
• Ability to translate theft-related legislation into software features for prevention and detection..
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal experts, software developers, and compliance professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• English - Advanced level

Will be a plus:

• Professional certifications in cybersecurity, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

Job Responsibilities:

As a Security Advisor you will be involved in:

1) Contribution into strategy and roadmap
2) Legal requirement handling status (e.g. covered by attribute req, or handshaked with stakeholder, or to be taken cared in continuous planning)
3) Functional and non-functional cyber security requirements development and review
4) Requirement traceability from legal to attribute to stakeholder
5) Deviation log
6) Verification or validation result
7) Reports to program leaders
